From Light to Life

From Light to Life by artist Eliseo Art Silva is located in the lunch room of the Rawnhurst Elementary School in the Rhawnhurst neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The students of the school came up with much of the inspiration for this mural which thinks about not only visual light providing what is needed for life but also the students as the light of the future. Some of the student inspired imagery in the mural includes the dog on fire (a hot-dog) and the broccoli tree with a chicken on top of it.
