Going Home

Going Home by artist Ann Northrup is located at the Riverside Correctional Facility in Northeast Philadelphia. The painted mural, 60 feet wide x 80 feet tall, depicts four formerly incarcerated women walking down a narrow path, leaving the stark and confining walls and going home to their families and loved ones and a flower-filled celebration. This mural was painted on cloth by women at the facility as part of a drawing and painting class.
