Harrowgate Park

This mural by artists Leon Rainbow and John C. Zerbe is painted in the middle of Harrowgate Park in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Located in the center of the park, the image features an silhouette of the historic headhouse located at the north side of the park. The historic building is a relic from the city’s early public transportation history. The artists have chosen this iconic symbol found in the park to create a sense of identity and pride for the community.
