Heart of the City

Heart of the City by artist Paul Santoleri is located inside the Please Touch Museum in Memorial Hall, West Fairmount Park, in the West Philadelphia neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This murals is one of several inside the museum created through a partnership with Mural Arts Philadelphia. In this mural, Santoleri depicts an aerial view of a fanciful Philadelphia cityscape centered around the historic fountain at Logan Circle. A literal heart lies at the center of the mural, atop the Franklin Institute, home of the historic walk-through heart exhibit.
