History of Mill Creek

History of Mill Creek by artist Paul Santoleri is painted on a retaining wall at the rear of the Mayer Sulzberger Middle School (now the Parkway West High School) located in the Mill Creek neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This mural discusses the history of Mill Creek, a tributary of the Schuylkill River, that flows under the Mill Creek neighborhood. Filled with images of plants and animals that can be found along the creek, this mural is less about its geologic history and more about the history of the water it carries as it flows from its origin into Philadelphia.
