Ingenuity

Ingenuity by artist Jared Bader is painted on an exterior wall of the Randolph Technical High School located in the Nicetown neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Taking its inspiration from the curriculum of the school, the mural depicts students engaged in learning trades and technical skills that will help them secure jobs after graduation. From welding to carpentry, plumbing and automotive repair, this mural showcases some of the things students can learn inside the halls of this school.

The mural was created as part of a five-year mural-making partnership between The School District of Philadelphia and the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program that ran from 2004-2009.
