Italian Landscape

Italian Landscape by artist Diane Keller was located in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Painted in conjunction with the New Kensington CDC to promote urban revitalization this mural was meant to bring an aspect of beauty to the brick and concrete streets of Philadelphia. A rolling landscape with hills, waterfalls, lakes, and trees are bisected by a path. The position of the path makes it feel as if you the viewer can walk right into the landscape you are seeing onto the Italian countryside.
