John Bartram High School entryway mosaic

This mosaic (title unknown) by artist Josh Sarantitis is located at the entrance to the John Bartram High School in the Elmwood neighborhood of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The mural depicts a series of flowers and birds soaring out of a pair of hands. Their sharp edges are blunted by the smooth curves of the hands as they push a sun up into the sky, and the glass of the mosaics giving the sun a reflective glow shining onto the students entering the school.
