Life From the Past

Life from the Past by artist Cavin Jones is located in the Stenton neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jones’ mural focuses on the impact that community leaders of the past can have on the lives of future generations. Through the depiction of past community leader, this mural keeps their legacy alive in the contemporary time. Through two linked hands bridging the past and present viewers are shown that community work doesn’t ever stop being relevant.
