Water Under the Bridge

Manayunk is flourishing, and Water Under the Bridge is an extension of the thriving surrounding locale. Muralist Paul Santoleri and mosaic artist Beth Clevenstine led the artistic process, focusing on the water in glass and paint as the nexus that brings the artistic elements of nature, design, and material together.

Brightly covered in mosaic, the art is a lush extension of the river and its surrounding greenery. The mural and mosaics are displayed across the Fountain Street Steps and under the overpass, drawing attention to the green space and connecting the Manayunk Canal Towpath and the Schuylkill River together.
