Paradise

Paradise by Felix St. Fort was painted to enliven the corner of 35th and Allegheny facing a public transit bus loop. The neighborhood is sometimes known as Paradise, so the community requested a mural the evokes a simple feeling of calm and beauty. Because the neighborhood is close to Fairmount Park, they also wanted to see trees and nature depicted in the design.

The design centers around the silhouette of a tree that represents serenity. The tree is broken down into geometric shapes that are further broken down by transparent overlays.
