Re:flect

This project entailed a series of living murals, which were intended to become major organic sculptural gateways through the community of West Philadelphia, to continue Philadelphia’s great garden history, and to bring about opportunities for urban farming. The concept for this project was initially inspired by the Schuylkill River, which is also known as the eastern gateway into West Philadelphia. The series was to feature physical organic gateways at marquee destination points throughout the city, and was collectively modeled after the fluidity of the river and its surrounding watersheds.

Location Note: Project no longer on view at this location (deaccessioned in 2013).
