Renewing Seasons

Renewing Seasons by artist Cliff Eubanks is located in the Cobbs Creek neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This mural is an allegory for how seniors offer enrichment to their neighborhoods. It shows each season (winter in the left corner, spring on the woman’s white shirt, summer in the top right, and fall in the bottom right corner) in the role they play throughout the year as represented by seniors volunteer activities. It personifies an intergenerational theme using people of all ages in its creation.

The mural was restored in 2016.
