Spring Bouquet

Spring Bouquet by artist Ana Uribe is located in the Francisville neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This mural was sponsored by the Philadelphia Museum of Art which was hosting an exhibition about the Dutch artist Vincent Van Gogh in 2000. Uribe based the flowers in her mural after Van Gogh’s painted Irises. Around the border of the mural are 1,000 tiles made by children based on the flowers they saw in the galleries at the museum.
