Stop the Violence (Re-envisioning)

This mural painted by Felix St. Fort is a re-envisioned design of the original Stop the Violence mural that was painted in 1989 in response to numerous individuals tragically lost to gun violence. It features the names of 46 individuals whose lives were lost superimposed over a stylized background of trees silhouetted against a sky at sunset.

Special thanks goes out to the homeowner and the community members for helping preserve the significance of this memorial. These 46 individuals, and those who have been lost to gun violence since then, will never be forgotten.
