Swenson Travels the World

Swenson Travels the World by artist Cathleen Hughes is located in the Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood of Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Painted inside the Swenson Arts & Technology High School, this mural brings together the art and technology part of the schools name. It features sections of the world map with various technological leaps humans have taken through history. From boats, to bridges and planes, each form of technology allows people to travel, meet, and learn from each other strengthening our understanding of others and ourselves.
