Tell Me What You See

Tell Me What You See connected youth program participants from Sobriety Through Outpatient (S.T.O.P.) who received services for substance use and mental health challenges. The participants were invited to investigate the power of positive thought with spoken word artist Lamar Manson and muralist James Burns. The completed mural reflects the vibrant youth, their portraits, and the positive reflections from the writings. The mural challenges the viewer to respond and offers the positive thoughts of the young people as possible answers to the request posed by one of the youth: “Tell me what you see.”
