The New Day

Mural Arts Philadelphia and the City of Philadelphia dedicated a 33,000-square-foot ground mural to celebrate a return to normal after the historic global pandemic. Created by artist Felix St. Fort and a team of assistant artists, the mural conveys a “new day” concept with a celebratory feel of fireworks over the cityscape and riverfront, depicting the Philadelphia skyline and people reuniting to once again experience all that they enjoyed and missed during the pandemic.
