Together We Stand

Together We Shine by artist Gabe Tiberino is located in the Mill Creek neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Initiated by the Christian Stronghold Baptist Church, Together We Shine, is a collaboration with Blankenburg Elementary School and Spiral Q Puppet Theater—which runs an after-school program at Blankenburg.

The mural design centers around the Peoplehood Parade—an annual Spiral Q tradition that convenes activists, neighbors, and youth each Fall to build Peoplehood’ s giant puppets and banners. The parade includes performances celebrating Philly’ s justice movements and nurturing community connections.
