Tranquil Lotus

Transforming Parc Rittenhouse’s rooftop pool into a true oasis, Tranquil Lotus is a pair of murals that transports visitors from the busy city to the serene beauty of a flower-filled lake. Children and adults alike will enjoy exploring the mural with the help of some friendly creatures tucked amongst the water flowers.

Led by artist Melissa Mandel, Mural Arts Philadelphia Art Education alumni, apprentices and summer interns participated in the mural completion process.

Location Note: Murals are located at the rooftop pool of a private apartment building and may not be available for public viewing.
