Tree / The Oval 2024

Tree by artist Felix St. Fort is a temporary ground mural located at the Oval at Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The image is a silhouette of a tree interrupted by blocks of color, rendered in a way that is subtle and playful, allowing each visitor to bring their own imagination into what it might be as they view it at ground level. The project is the 2024 iteration of The Oval, an annual celebration on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway that takes place during the summer months. This ground mural creates a colorful backdrop for the festival’s activities.
