This untitled mural by NDA is part of a larger series of silhouettes by the artist. The focus is to highlight contemporary change makers in the area where the work is produced. Instead of focusing on known figures in history, NDA strives to emphasize everyday heroes or the ordinary extraordinary. The subject for this project is principal Laureal Robinson of Spring Garden Public School who has fought hard to improve to conditions for her school. From planting trees to providing more after school care programs, she has surpassed her job and in the process raised the school’s achievement ranking.
