Veterans Village

Veterans Village>/em> by Jon Laidacker is located in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The mural depicts an image of the Statue of Liberty, a symbol of freedom and liberty, surrounded by stars against a red, white and blue background. The mural is installed at Veterans Village, an affordable housing community for Veterans. The first project of the VBC Giving Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to providing respectful, high quality, resilient new construction housing for vulnerable populations nationwide, the 47-unit Veterans Village, is located in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood. It started welcoming residents in August 2022.
