Walking Together

Walking Together depicts the commonalities and differences of the wide range of faiths and faith-based institutions throughout Philadelphia.

When the Neighborhood Interfaith Movement (NIM) began work on a mural, they knew that the imagery would have to reflect their work in the community and their support for the diverse surroundings that is Mt. Airy.

Members of over 60 congregations were involved in the project and helped paint and design ceramics that would cover the wall on the side of the NIM building.

Special thanks to the director and the staff of the Allens Lane Art Center. The mural is dedicated in honor of Elaine Dushoff, community activist and NIM leader.
