Welcome America / Flag Day Mural

Welcome America, designed by Stacey Lewis and painted by Eric Okdeh and Jason Slowik, is located in the Bella Vista neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Also known as the Flag Day Mural, it was originally dedicated on Flag Day (June 14) in 1999. It depicts versions of the American flag from the Colonial flag to the present. It was restored in 2009 as part of the Sunoco Welcome America festivities that take place around the July 4th Independence Day holiday.
