Wild Tuscan Lilies

This small mural is a reproduction of a painting originally done in 1996 by Berny Brownstein. Brownstein was an artist and painter, graduating from University of the Arts in Philadelphia. After a stint at a New York ad agency, he subsequently returned to Philadelphia and founded the Brownstein Group advertising agency in 1964.

Berny spent much time in Tuscany painting a series of local landscapes. This mural is a reproduction of one of these scenes. Using a new process, the original painting was photographed and enlarged in high resolution, then reprinted on parachute cloth, which was installed/glued onto the wall. Next, the mural was touched up with acrylic mural paint to enhance colors to look closer to the original painting.
