No Place for Hate by artist Shira Walinsky is located in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This mural began with a series of workshops designed to bring together groups of students who normally would not encounter each other. Students worked on drawing and painting the flowers in the mural. The portraits (done on parachute cloth) depict many members of the Kensington community; shop owners on Kensington Avenue, students involved in the project, and other community members.
