Eco-Social Realism Open House at TILT
Tour Eco-Social Realism: Historic Mural Activations at TILT before it closes during an Open House event showcasing ecologically-themed artwork at galleries across the Philadelphia region. At TILT, viewers can explore original works by José Ortiz-Pagán, Li Sumpter, Lori Waselchuk, and Ricky Yanas & Grimaldi Baez, which emerged from a summer of activations around four historic murals produced in the early years of Mural Arts Philadelphia.
Eco-Social Realism is a regional-scale, multi-site exhibition taking place at the Cantor Fitzgerald Gallery at Haverford College, Rowan University Museum of Contemporary Art, Street Road Artists Space, TILT Institute, and Big Ramp. November’s Open House includes public programs at all of the exhibition venues, as well as The WaterShed, Ulises, and Facing Bench.
