“How We Run” Mural Dedication at Robert E. Lamberton

Join Mural Arts Philadelphia and the Robert E. Lamberton Elementary School community to dedicate a new mural celebrating strides in environmental justice in Philadelphia’s Overbrook Park neighborhood. We’ll cut the ribbon on the mural, hear remarks from partners, and celebrate the school’s commitment to a greener future!

Designed by artist Cindy Lozito, the mural is part of a larger project celebrating the School District of Philadelphia’s transition to electric school buses, with support from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Lamberton students helped shape the mural through educational art-making activities focused on clean air and the environment. Their artwork appears throughout the mural, alongside rain gardens and clean-energy buses, creating a vision of a healthier world where children’s creativity can flourish.
