Kulu Mele Presents Afro-Cuban Community Dance Class Led by Cachet Ivy

In connection to the Philadelphia Black Dance Mural project with Mural Arts Philadelphia Kulu Mele African Dance & Drum Ensemble will host a Community Afro-Cuban Dance Class on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 7:00–8:30 PM, at the Community Education Center (CEC), 3500 Lancaster Avenue in West Philadelphia.

Led by guest instructor Cachet Ivy, the class invites adults and community members to explore Afro-Cuban movement rooted in African Diasporic tradition. The session is open to all experience levels and offers a welcoming, high-energy space to move, learn, and connect through rhythm and culture.

This class is part of Kulu Mele’s ongoing Community Dance Bash series, which highlights traditional African and Diasporic dance forms through rotating guest instructors and live drumming.
