Mural Arts Artist Town Hall on AI: Session 2

Join a Mural Arts town hall to share your perspectives and help shape our organizational policy on AI in our public art practice.

Mural Arts is developing an organizational policy on AI as it relates to our work in public art. We invite you to a Mural Arts Artist Town Hall on AI to help shape that policy through your experiences and perspectives.

The development and use of AI raises important questions about creative ownership, consent, compensation, and the value of artists’ work. These questions go to the heart of our responsibilities to the artists and communities we partner with.

Our draft policy draws on research and conversations with artists, arts workers, Mural Arts colleagues, and arts organizations across the country. During the Town Hall, we’ll share our thinking, followed by a facilitated discussion. What is at stake for you and your practice? What principles should guide our decisions? What should the policy address in our commissions, partnerships, and educational programs?

Your input will help us refine the policy and guide how we put it into practice.

When: November 5th and 12th, both 6-8 PM
Where: Mural Arts Headquarters at 1727-29 Mt. Vernon Street
Please RSVP here. Space is limited. Each person may reserve one seat for one gathering.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Thank you for considering these questions with us. We look forward to hearing your perspectives and learning from one another.
