Printmaking by the People: Among these Are … Postermaking Workshop

Among these Are … Postermaking Workshop
Tuesday, June 10 | 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm | Northeast Regional Library | 2228 Cottman Avenue | Free
If the Declaration of Independence were to be written today, what would you want it to say? Come join this hands-on printmaking workshop and turn your idea into an original poster! Your work will serve as inspiration for an upcoming mural and will be considered for an exhibition next spring at the Free Library’s flagship Parkway Central location.
No prior printmaking experience is necessary. Ages 16 and above. Further details and the registration link are coming soon.
This event is part of Mural Arts’ Printmaking by the People, a city-wide project that will help commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration by asking Philadelphians the question, if the Declaration were to be written today, what rights would you want it to include? Come join us and have a chance for your work to serve as inspiration for an upcoming mural and to be shown in an exhibition at the Parkway Central Library in 2026.
