Big Thanks to Everyone who Made Wall Ball 2025 a Success!

Wall Ball 2025 was a smashing success! Supporters, friends, artists, and staff gathered to celebrate this year’s theme, Restoring Hope: Where Art and Justice Meet. We honored City Council President Kenyatta Johnson, Filmmaker and Journalist Serena Snider, Super Bowl LIX Champions the Philadelphia Eagles, and Arts + Crafts Visionary Award recipient, King Saladeen.
We had an incredible night of art and celebration, and we couldn’t have done it without YOU! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting Mural Arts Philadelphia’s commitment to community-centered public art. With your support, we surpassed our fundraising goal!
Thanks to everyone who helped to make this year a success — our staff, artists, funders, and supporters, and, of course, all of the community members we have worked with to create over 4,000 murals across our city. Because of your support, Philadelphia recently earned the title of the ‘Best City for Street Art’ by USA Today!
In addition, we are so grateful for the city’s unwavering support. For four decades, Mural Arts has cultivated Philadelphia like a garden, nurturing the city’s landscape through transformative public art projects. Your support has been essential in sowing seeds of growth, innovation, and solution-finding within our communities.

Wall Ball 2025 was truly championship-worthy! Thanks to everyone who entertained us, including the Eagles Cheerleading Squad, the Eagles Drumline, and everyone’s favorite mascot — Swoop! Guests grooved the night away to the sounds of Eagles DJ Diamond Kuts. They also enjoyed “classics with a twist” by the Philadelphia String Quartet, and delicious food by Catering by Design.
Our Emcee, Nina “Lyrispect” Ball, did a fantastic job keeping the night flowing while we watched as murals were created right before our eyes by artists Priscilla Bell Lamberty, Cody Stuhltrager, and Gabe Tiberino — because no Mural Arts event would be complete without artmaking.
Thank you to everyone who attended and celebrated with us. And for those who could not make it, we hope to see you at the next Wall Ball!
If you weren’t able to join us, you can still catch a glimpse of the impactful people we honored at Wall Ball here.

As we celebrate this moment, we are also clear-eyed about what’s ahead. Right now, public funding for the arts in Philadelphia and the Nation is vulnerable. Community-centered work like ours is often the first to be cut—even as it plays a vital role in strengthening neighborhoods, supporting young people and returning citizens, and bringing Philadelphians together through collective imagination and action.
Here’s what you can do right now to support Mural Arts—and the future of arts and culture in Philadelphia:
- Write to your City Council and Congress. Let them know that public investment in art and culture matters—and that Mural Arts makes a real, measurable impact in Philadelphia and the nation.
- Donate. Support the people, programs, and partnerships that bring this work to life.
- Join us. Come to a mural dedication, community paint day, or workshop.
- Spread the word. Forward this email or share our work on social media.
Together with thousands of Philadelphians, we’ve created nearly 4,000 murals—each one a reflection of shared vision, trust, and collaboration. We’re just getting started, and we’re so glad you’re with us.
