Spring is slowly but surely heading to Philadelphia, which can only mean one thing: It’s mural tour season!
Mural Arts Philadelphia’s spring 2026 tour season kicks off on Saturday, March 21, featuring walking and trolley tour favorites, private and group tour opportunities, and a brand new tour for the Semiquincentennial celebrations: “Icons of Independence.”

NEW FOR 2026: ICONS OF INDEPENDENCE
Our newest specialty tour is curated for the U.S. Semiquincentennial celebrations, following a trail of historic symbols that appear in iconic Philadelphia murals: Liberty Bells, American flags, famous figures, notable architecture, and much more. Explore the world’s largest outdoor art gallery as you walk from Philadelphia’s Historic District to City Hall, and get to know the city that claims the title as the birthplace of America, 250 years later.

RETURNING FAVORITES: CITYWIDE WALKING & TROLLEY TOURS
A Mural Arts tour is the perfect weekend activity for anyone who wants to learn more about the stories and people behind the world’s largest outdoor gallery.
Masterpieces East and West trolley tours take place just once every month, and tickets will go fast! These unique tours weave between Philadelphia’s diverse neighborhoods, spotlighting many of the stunning artworks in our growing collection. Masterpieces East makes its debut on opening day, Saturday, March 21 at 10 am.
Our spring offerings include walking tours in various neighborhoods around Philadelphia, such as the iconic Mural Mile Center City walking tour, as well as Center City West, South of South, Bella Vistas, and Historic Germantown.
