Everything’s Coming Up Monument Lab

This is shaping up to be a monumental fall, with a month and a half still to go for our biggest project ever. We hope we’ll see you at Promument tonight, dancing to QUESTLOVE and making art with Steve Powers. Incorporating poetry and music, this sound installation is a monument to Philadelphia sound and collective memory, creating an immersive experience. Free.

Mural Dedication: THE TIMES

WHAT
A dedication of artist Tyree Guyton’s monumental installation, THE TIMES, which covers three sides of a five-story building in Kensington in honor of time, resilience, and healing in the context of trauma. Free.

Youth Monument to the Future with King Britt and Joshua Mays

WHAT
A one-night-only performance, created in collaboration with students from our Art Education program, featuring music, collected sound samples, and student-designed banners and artwork. Free.
