Pathology of Devotion

Pathology of Devotion is located in the East Passyunk neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The mural is about how both science and religion provide us with different ways to look at the world. It was designed by South Philadelphia-born artist Vincent Desiderio, and painted by Jane Golden, Dietrich Adonis and the Philadelphia Anti-Graffiti Network crew in 1992. It was the 1,000th mural created for what eventually became the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program.

Eric Okdeh and Jason Slowik restored the mural in 1999. Pennsylvania Council on the Arts sponsored by the creation of the original mural and the restoration.

The mural was repainted again in 2008 by Jared Bader.
