Musical Explosion

Musical Explosion by artists Jane Golden, Deitrich Adonis, and Alvino Pearson is located in West Philadelphia. Because it was sponsored by Jive Records (DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince) it is sometimes informally referred to as “The Will Smith Mural.”

The mural was restored by Sarah Moyer in 2002.
