Father’s Day Rally Committee, Inc. (Reenvisioning)

Father’s Day (Reenvisioning) by artist Gabe Tiberino was located in the Glenwood neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This mural is a reenvisioning of an original mural at the same location. Like its predecessor, this mural was created to celebrate fathers and all they do for their families and the people around them. This mural in particular celebrates black fathers and depicts many recognizable black fathers and father figures from history. These fathers are seen smiling, playing with their children, speaking with each other, and being present for each person who walks by.

Location Note: Mural no longer on view at this location (deaccessioned in 2015).
