The Swan

The Swan by artist Michael Frechette was painted on the Crane Arts Building located in the Olde Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A light gray background contrasts strongly with the long necked pure white body of a swan. Pale water ripples under its body suggesting movement as its beak reaches out searching.

Location Note: Mural no longer on view at this location (painted out before 2007). Mural was located on the wall just north of Crane Arts, at 1429 North American Street.
