Donald Gensler

Gensler is a painter and installation artist involved in large-scale public art projects and co-founder of Gensler + Gutierrez. He received his BS from Skidmore College and MFA from the University of Pennsylvania and studied art history at the University of Vienna, Austria. Gensler has completed over 35 public art projects nationally including his 12,000 sq. ft. mural at Hahnemann University Hospital working with disability communities in Philadelphia, PA. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally with organizations such as Postmasters, NY, Exit Art, NY and the Korean National University of the Arts, Seoul, Korea. Since Fall 2002 he has been a Lecturer in public art and mural painting at the University of Pennsylvania School of Design.
