A Family That Prays Together, Stays Together by artist Ras Malik was located in the Point Breeze neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Featuring a multicolored stunningly painted landscape of a family praying together as they look out over a lake, this mural opens the viewer to contemplating the beauty of nature. While there are overt religions undertones to the mural, those will no religious affiliation can still find spiritual meaning in the awe inspiring scene that Malik has painted. Through the reflections of trees on the surface of the lake and the large cloud over head this mural provides a break in the reality of every day life much like religion does for those who practice.
