A Journey to Resilience

This mural is the result of a series of workshops held at North Philadelphia Health System, a behavioral health facility that provides clients with addiction and mental health services. Artist James Burns worked with members of the NPHS community to hold discussion groups and create collages on the theme of recovery. The image shows the journey of recovery as a universal experience that is part of the human condition, and the importance of community in making recovery possible.
