Domestic Situations by Steve Powers is one of several murals that are part of South Philadelphia’s Snyder Plaza metamorphosis into Swanson Walk. Located around the exterior walls of a free-standing off-price retail store, Powers’ mural incorporates iconic Philadelphia-themed imagery with his signature wordplay. In addition to new buildings and new stores, project sponsor The Goldenberg Group created a brand new art zone. Steve Powers, Joe Boruchow, Peter Ferrari, and Isaac Lin comprise the first group of megawatt artists to bring bright colors and fascinating patterns to the walls of the shopping plaza, energizing the space for neighbors and shoppers.
