Inner Peace

Inner Peace by artist Jason Slowik is located in the Sharswood neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In designing this mural, two main facors guided Slowik’s work: the wants and needs of the community and the challenge of enhancing an already beautiful building. The mural is multifaceted, blending faux architecture with a relaxing and peaceful landscape. The intent of the artist was to create a quiet yet powerfully soothing and inspirational experience for the members of the community. Slowik wanted the viewer to feel as if they could take a momentary vacation to a peaceful place every time they viewed the mural.
