Las Mujeres

Las Mujeres by artists Danny Polanco and Joe Brenman is located in the Norris Square neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The artist worked with students of the Big Picture Program and Taller Puertorriqueño to create this tribute to the women of Puerto Rico. These women not only support their families and communities but help to keep their culture alive through language, dance, and being a strong presence in their community every day. Created from stained glass, beads, and paint this mural serves as a powerful reminder of these powerful women.
