Reaching for Your Star

Reaching for Your Star by artist Donald Gensler is located in the Mantua neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvanka. This mural was a collaboration between one of the Intensive Delinquency Prevention (IDP) Program sites funded by the Department of Human Services and Jane Golden and Gensler’s mural classes at Penn. The mural was designed by Gensler and the Penn students, and painted by both groups. It symbolizes the great things that kids can do in life if they stay in school.
