The Liberties of Sport

The Liberties of Sport by artists Dietrich Adonis and Jane Golden was painted on a wall adjacent to Northern Liberties Recreation Center playground in the Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This mural is a tribute to the athletes that participate in the various sports of the Olympics, some who have even grown up in Philadelphia. It is a celebration of all that is sports and the ways sports bring people together in competition and camaraderie.
