Color Me Back’s Lovely Day Tour

Join Mural Arts’ Color Me Back (CMB) program for a tour of Lovely Day by artist Lauren Cat West, finally on view after a prolonged closure. This mural was designed by West and completed by Color Me Back participants from August 2020-March 2021.

Located under SEPTA’s Walnut Street Station, the concourse reopened to the public this summer—and for one week only, during Mural Arts Month, visitors are welcome to tour the artwork for free with a knowledgeable Color Me Back tour guide. Experience one of Color Me Back’s iconic works in person, and learn about the incredible work of this program, which combines participatory art-making with access to economic opportunities.

To access the tour:

  • Enter the station at Broad & Walnut Streets using either stairwell on the southbound side of Broad Street.
  • Follow signs for Lovely Day Mural Tours.
