Mary Field Apartments Mural Dedication

Join Mural Arts Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Housing Affordability and Rehabilitation Enhancement (PHARE) to dedicate a new mural by Cesar Viveros at Mary Field Senior Apartments. Enjoy food, music, and community, as well as a poetry collection written by residents throughout the design process!

Inspired by a garden that serves as a sanctuary for residents of HumanGood’s four-building campus in Kingsessing, this six-story mural transforms the side of the senior center with natural imagery and portraits of Mary Field residents. Residents from across the campus helped shape the project through a community-wide paint day and series of poetry workshops led by poet and spoken word artist Ursula Rucker.

Come celebrate the collaboration between master muralist Cesar Viveros and the Mary Field community!
