In Pride, In Power, In Memory Mural Dedication

Celebrate Pride Month in the heart of the Gayborhood at the In Pride, In Power, In Memory mural dedication, where we will unveil a new tribute to the city’s rich LGBTQ+ history designed by artist Santiago Galeas. The mural depicts five Philadelphia LGBTQ+ trailblazers: civil rights leader Gloria Casarez; Philadelphia Black Gay Pride co-founder Michael S. Hinson, Jr.; award-winning LGBTQ activist Tyrone Smith; Nizah Morris, Black transgender entertainer; and Dawn Munro, dedicated organizer for Trans Day of Remembrance.
